Turner Custom Coatings

Commercial Concrete Coatings

Our 7-Step Installation Process

Seven steps. Zero shortcuts. This is what separates a floor that lasts from one that does not.

Turner Custom Coatings Process

Every slab gets mechanically ground with commercial-grade diamond equipment. This opens the concrete and creates the bonding surface the coating needs to adhere properly. Surface preparation is everything. We never skip this step.

Industrial vacuums pull debris and fine dust from the surface. A clean slab is critical for long-term adhesion. Contamination at this stage is one of the leading causes of coating failure.

Cracks are opened, filled, and leveled. Surface imperfections are repaired before any coating goes down. A professionally finished floor starts with a properly prepared one.

We apply an epoxy MVB base coat at the correct thickness. This is not standard on most crews’ jobs. It penetrates the slab, blocks moisture vapor transmission, and creates the structural foundation the rest of the system builds on.

Decorative vinyl flakes are broadcast to full rejection across the base coat. This creates the signature look while adding strength and texture to the surface. Custom flake blends are available in a wide range of colors.

Once cured, excess flakes are scraped away and the surface is refined for uniform texture and profile. This step is what separates a sharp professional finish from a rough amateur one.

An industrial-grade polyaspartic top coat is applied as the final layer. It is UV-stable, chemical-resistant, slip-resistant, and built to protect the system for years to come.

15-Year Warranty

Five years in business. Hundreds of floors installed. And in those five years, we have had to redo five floors under warranty. All five were top coat issues traced back to the same batch. Every single one of those customers was taken care of at no charge. No arguments, no delays.

That track record is something we are proud of. The coating industry has a lot of operators who install cheap systems, collect payment, and are hard to reach when something goes wrong. We are not that company. Our 15-year warranty is not a marketing phrase. It is a promise we have kept every time we have been called on it.
